Great food and we were shock to see how big portion was for the chicken Service was good servers both very polite Seating was ok renovation was old Free parking around on the street or limited parking at the back of the restaurant

We found this TERRIFIC restaurant that other people are also calling, "AUTHENTIC Korean tastes." This restaurant on Edmonds St. is just a GREAT place to go for a SUPER tasting meal! Many menu choices! We have tried quite a few items -which were EXtremely tasty, generous portions, and the server could not have been nicer! It is VERY clean! Between us-bulgogi and then army soup-ohhh geez- beef bone soup-OH MY-the taste and broths were BY FAR some of the BEST around I didn't want them to end!! Also- AMAZing seafood, etc. flakey pancake, sweet and sour chicken-VERY different from any other we have had elsewhere! We had our first SOJU- along with their great Kimchi, potatoes, radish! We tried cheesy shrimp fried rice, with egg-OH geez-SUPER flavour! Then Spicy Pork Don -wow, GREAT! SO tasty! The welcoming friendly owner came to our table to bring some of his preparations, and I HAD to get a picture of this lovely smiling man, who cooks these great meals- our server, and 2 other contributors there! "SUPER and GREAT HOMEY" place!! We ALL WILL be back- and order from here as well! VERY reasonable prices!

Great spot for Korean eats. Restaurant is very cozy and service was good. The Zzhumak we got was really good, great spice level meat and intestines were tender. A few parking spots in the rear but not much, would have to find street parking if it’s busy.

We enjoyed their food. Lots of selection. We even ordered take home and they were delicious. The price is good too. We make it a point to visit them whenever we go to Burnaby. We are from Chilliwack and it was our son who introduced us to this place.

This is my favorite Korean restaurant. I went there 3 times in the past week. Their food reminds me of my time traveling alone in Korea. The stir fried spicy baby octopus, pork belly and pork intestines is so flavorful. It's spiciness carries a little sweetness which makes the dish very addictive to eat. The spicy pork bones soup is another popular dish. The meat on the bones is so tender and it almost came off on its own. Food tastes so good and authentic. Service is also good. I'm so happy that it is located only 10 min away from my home.

Staff were super nice even we came a little past last order. Food was amazing, definitely a top 3 Korean food in Vancouver. THE FRIED CHICKEN W FRIES CANT BE GATEKEEP!

Our local favourite for Korean food. The cheese fried chicken is the best here! It’s savoury but sweet and juicy inside. We always get their seafood pancake and japchae as well. The sides with the potatoes is also one of the best here. My kids love their cheese fried rice.

I tried the Spicy Pork Don and the Spicy Beef Cream Udon at Zhu Sam, and both dishes absolutely exceeded my expectations. The spice level was spot on—just the right amount of heat to enhance the flavor without overwhelming it. The pork don was rich, savory, and perfectly balanced with a generous portion of meat and rice. Every bite was packed with flavor. But the real standout for me was the beef cream udon—unbelievably creamy, juicy, and comforting. It was unlike anything I’ve had before (We couldn’t wait to eat so the pictures were rushed! They don’t do justice) Can’t speak to the atmosphere as we did takeout! Prices were very reasonable for the quality. I loved everything about this meal and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
